he feels like he won the lottery when he sees another silph matched up against him. he tries to find him amongst the crowd and quickly picks him out.

kyle only knows what he looks like cause he may have seen a family picture or something with fern. he doesn't recall, but it might be at least fifty percent metagame stuff.

"hello alex silph," he greets. "remember me? i think i got a badge from your dewford gym."

he forgot the exact details. was it dewford and was he the gym leader silph?
